Mood Up Lighting
For some celebrations, mood up lighting for weddings shapes how a room feels.
Walls soften. Corners feel warmer. Guests arrive and settle more easily because the space feels intentional and welcoming.
It works best in spaces where you want the room to feel considered but not over-styled — where the lighting supports your colours and the natural flow of the evening rather than drawing attention to itself. If your venue has strong architectural features or natural light that already sets the mood you want, mood up lighting may add less than it would elsewhere.
This isn’t for every wedding. Either way, your evening will feel relaxed, confident, and well guided. Read more…
More about Mood Up Lighting
Mood up lighting tends to work best in venues where the space already feels right, but can lose a little warmth as daylight fades. It can help larger rooms feel more connected, soften hard edges, and bring balance to areas that might otherwise fall away as the evening moves on.
Earlier in the day, the lighting can sit gently alongside your chosen colour palette, helping the room feel considered as guests arrive. As the evening reception begins, the lighting evolves naturally with the energy in the room — supporting the atmosphere without ever becoming the focus.
Neil will always look at the room as a whole before recommending it. In some venues, particularly those with strong character, architectural detail, or a natural warmth of their own, mood up lighting may add very little. In others, it quietly brings everything together and helps the space feel more settled throughout the evening.
There’s no need to decide this straight away. Many couples choose their enhancements once their venue and plans have taken shape, allowing enough time to confirm availability and ensure everything suits the space. Neil will advise based on the room, the flow of the evening, and what will genuinely make a difference — not on adding things for the sake of it.

Pricing & Availability
If you’ve booked either the Atmosphere or Stratosphere packages, Mood Up Lighting is one of your enhancement choices, included within your package. You can select it at the time of booking, or confirm your choices later once your plans have taken shape.
For the Sphere package
Mood Up Lighting – £177
This can be added as an optional enhancement once you know it’s right for your space.
Some enhancements may be subject to venue restrictions. This can always be checked and confirmed in advance.
If this feels right for your space, you’re welcome to explore it further. If you’re unsure, that’s absolutely fine — there’s no pressure to decide now.
Either way, Neil will guide your evening with confidence — and you’ll be in safe hands.
